NHQHA RECREATION PROGRAM
ALL BREEDS – ALL AGES – ALL RIDERS
ALL DISCIPLINES ARE HONORED

 
Who Can Join? You must be a member NHQHA. Everyone who rides or drives a horse is eligible to join the program. You do not have to ride or drive a Quarter Horse to participate.
 
What Is The Program? This program was designed to honor the horse enthusiast. The rider does not need to own the horse. There are two ways to participate. You may log your hours or you may log your miles. Let’s get as many as possible to SADDLE UP & RIDE. Receive recognition for your sport and passion!
 
Where? Ride anywhere in the State of New Hampshire! Keep track of your hours or miles riding or driving your horse. It can be on the trail, in the backyard, during your riding lessons, or at your horse show or event. Wherever you ride or drive in New Hampshire.
 
When? The program runs from January 1st through December 15th of each year. You may begin logging the day you sign up and remain a member in good standing of NHQHA.
 
How? You must be a member of NHQHA & enrolled in the Log Program. Forms are available on-line or from the NHQHA Recreation Committee. Fill out one log form per horse/rider/driver combination, logging your hours or miles. Turn the log sheets in any time during the year. The log sheets MUST be submitted by December 15th of each year. Enrollment for the program is $10.00 per year. Hours or miles will accumulate each consecutive year you remain in the program.
 
How Do We Honor All Rides? The award system is based on
the average horse gait speed of 5 mph. Awards are listed below.

1200 Hours 6000 Miles New Saddle & Hours/Mileage Patch;
